The A Society is a community that blends wellness, fitness, movement, and real-life connection. We bring people together through shared experiences — from runs and workouts to recovery sessions and social gatherings. Our events are designed to create spaces where people can move, meet, and build meaningful connections beyond the screen.

Meet the Founder
Hybrid Athlete, Full-Time Consultant and Community Builder
I’m Mariona, a hybrid athlete, community builder, and the person behind The A Society.
I work in corporate strategy in Berlin, and outside of that, I’m passionate about fitness, wellness, and bringing people together.
Two years ago, I created Running FOMO, a run club in Berlin and platform for runners and designed to connect runners from all levels. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of hosting events and experiences for brands like Lululemon, On, FACTOR, and Siemens — blending movement, community, and culture.
But my love for connecting people goes much further than running. I thrive on creating experiences outdoors, in motion, and in spaces where people feel seen and connected. That’s why The A Society was born: a community-first active social club that brings together young professionals in Berlin through fitness, wellness, and shared experiences. Whether it’s a run, a workout, or a coffee-fueled gathering, my goal is always the same: to make movement feel more accessible, social, and fun, especially for people who might feel intimidated by traditional fitness spaces.
I believe the best communities are built when people show up as they are, try something new, and meet others who are on a similar journey.
